Dell UltraSharp U4025QW: what it gives up
- Twenty-four hundred dollars, which buys two very good 4K monitors and a Thunderbolt dock with change left over
- Dell publishes no dimming-zone count behind the DisplayHDR 600 badge — brighter HDR, with no contrast figure to go with it
- One HDMI input and one DisplayPort, so a console and a second PC cannot both sit on the non-Thunderbolt inputs
- 5 ms response, and the adaptive sync here is plain Adaptive-Sync rather than a certified gaming tier
Dell UltraSharp U3425WE: what it gives up
- 90 watts falls short of a 16-inch workstation under sustained load
- Dell makes no DisplayHDR claim for it at all, and 300 nits over an edge-lit backlight would not carry one
- 46 pixels per degree, the same as a 27-inch 1440p panel and well short of 4K density
- No portrait pivot, though on a 34-inch ultrawide that is hardly a loss
