- 200 nits full-field SDR is genuinely dim — this needs a room with controlled light
- Superseded by the 27GS95QE, which is brighter and now the cheaper of the two
- Text fringing from the WOLED subpixel layout is at its worst on this generation
- No USB-C and no KVM
ASUS ROG Swift OLED PG27AQDM: what it gives up
- HDMI is 2.0 only, so a console is capped at 1440p120 and cannot reach the panel's 240 Hz
- The anti-glare texture is visible as a faint sparkle on large white areas — the cost of killing reflections
- 46 pixels per degree is 1440p sharpness, and WOLED subpixels fringe text on top of that
